Stress is such a natural part of our lives, especially given our exposure to world events through social media. We have an active, front-row seat, to the whole world. As such, we have the opportunity to experience emotions about any event around the world. These emotional responses can cause us stress, as Amy shares in her post this week, Seeking the Savior in the Stress.
We crave our time with the Lord; we long to know Him more, but we are inundated with activity and stress. Many of us have developed natural tendencies to respond in the way that has been modeled for us by parents or influential adults. We’ve almost become “programmed” to respond in a certain way, Amy says.
In Christ, we are part of a new creation of people being made new – more and more like Christ, able to turn away from sin and/or unhealthy habits and more and more to Jesus.
So how do we find solace with the Lord, even in the midst of the stress? Stop by Amy’s post to read her thoughts and to be encouraged
