Pressed to Prayer {Day 18}
Is there a cross you’ve been asked to carry?Â
I dare say there is because Jesus said in Luke 9:23 that whoever wishes to come after Him must daily take up their cross and follow Him.
Today’s plunge will take us to the throne room in beseeching prayer, so let’s get started.
Day 18
1. The Bread: Read John 10:22-42
2. The Devo: Read Day 18 in Trust Without Borders, jotting down only key concepts that jump out at you.
3. The Plunge: Is there a cross you’ve been asked to carry? I dare say there is because Jesus said in Luke 9:23 that whoever wishes to come after Him must daily take up their cross and follow Him.
Take a few minutes to identify the cross you are asked to carry today.
“When the cross presses, it presses us to prayer which paves the way for the kingdom of God to come in power. Voices in the wilderness always prepare the way of the Lord.”Â
~ Trust Without Borders, day 18 quote
Today, allow the pressing weight of your daily cross to press you to your knees in prayer. Be a voice in your wilderness, preparing the way of the Lord. Use Joshua 1:3-6 to guide your prayer time today.
I’m  traveling  back home late tonight friends! I’ll do my best to be here tomorrow, but in case I’m not it’s because of the travels.  I’ll be back as soon as I can :)
