Well here we are, our final day of The Trust Experience. It has been an incredible privilege to spend these past days with you.
This morning I read Hebrews 6 and verses 11-12 resonated with my spirit.
“And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”
So today my prayer is that if you have become sluggish in your faith, this series will stir you up to a renewed diligence… to hope… to confident trust and patience…to press into your inheritance.
1. The Bread: Once again, read John 20:31. Be encouraged that this gospel was written to fuel your faith!
2. The Devo: Read Day 40 in Trust Without Borders
3. The Plunge: For our final day together, spend some time pondering what you have learned over the past 40 days. What concepts have stood out to you? How has your understanding of God deepened?
Have you identified any areas in which you are prone to unbelief? Is there a specific promise of God or name of God/ Jesus that you need to trust? Are there any tools you’ve come away with to help bring your heart to a place of trust?
The goal of this series is to help us develop new trust habits. We’ve provided lots of practical tools to help with that and, hopefully, have uncovered and addressed obstacles of the heart. Now go, my friend. Go in trust and renewed confidence. The One who promised is faithful.
