An invitation to Trust Without Borders {A 31+ Day Devotional Journey}

When you know firsthand how doubt and distrust marginalize your spiritual potential, no one has to ask you twice when a chance comes along to be rid of it all.

Rid of spiritual insecurity.

Rid of the orphan spirit.

Rid of the doubt and distrust that haunt your decisions.

When you realize He really does call us out upon the waters and that we can say YES, well, you jump out of the boat.

31 days of trust without borders

And for 31 (+9) days, we’re going to jump out of bed each morning and jump at the chance for deeper intimacy with God and we’ll practice jumping into the unknown with both feet.

We really can start new habits…new trust habits.

We can do this. Together.

We’ll wake up each day and let God speak… call…invite…heal…and then we’ll respond.

An Invitation to Trust

This is day one in our Trust Without Borders experience.

For the next 30 (+9) days, we’ll be taking a journey together. I’ll be writing on trust {waking up early every morning to hear from the Lord and write!} I’ll be giving a trust prompt that corresponds with the daily entry in Trust Without Borders: A 40-Day Devotional Journey to Deepen, Strengthen, and Stretch Your Faith in God

If you don’t have the book up there ^^^ yet, go get it! You’ll need it for this journey.

Each day we’ll let God speak and change us by:

1. Reading a portion from the Gospel of John.

2. Reading the daily devotional entry from Trust Without Borders.

3. Taking the daily plunge {a specific trust action related to each day’s devotional entry that I will post here on the blog.}

Join the journey! Grab your copy of Trust Without Borders and read the intro and Day One.

  1. Found your link on the 31 Days site. My word for the year is TRUST and my topic for 31 Days is Trusting Grace. Just wanted to pop by and wish you blessings!

  2. Can you tell me where to find Day 1? I had computer trouble, so I need to catch up (even though I’ll always be a couple days behind).

  3. Hello, my friend. Today, I began my “Trust Without Borders” Journey. As I meditated on what I read in Day 1, I realized that I have never had a faith-shaking trial. Perhaps I have a child-like faith, but I’ve just always believed that God is able to do whatever He says He will do. There have been times my faith has been challenged to grow, but never a time when I considered if I had placed my faith in a God who was not able. Now, with that said, there have been times in my past where I purposely walked away from God, clinging tightly to the gods of this world. . but, even in those times, I knew He was God and He was able.

    I was greatly moved by reading the story of John the Baptist and having him….HIM ask if Jesus really was the One to come. I’ve read it many times, but this time that question burned in my heart. I think so many people doubt and question. I have questioned His motives, His purposes, yet each time He has been so faithful and patient with me. Looking forward to Day 2.

    1. Leah, that is a great testimony to have. I wish my faith had been stronger during certain seasons. But I also have learned…and received much encouragement… from the examples of John the Baptist and Peter. Jesus reaches out to us in spite of our unbelief and brings us back to solid footing. I find such hope in that! And of course John 20:31, which says these things were written so that we might believe. That is just tremendous hope!

  4. I’ve been a part of Sojo for a little over a year and finally with birthday money I purchased Trust Without Borders. Now, my gift is faith but there are times, too many of lat,e when I question my usefulness, or is my simply daily routines as a good Grace Goal, is it worthy of the call on my life. Be faithful in little things…I may not even be able to read this print in the book tomorrow but I am so blessed by your obedience to the Holy Spirit for writing this book.
    I wanted to have a blog, and become a better writer but, because my physical condition is not dependable, (I could be in the hospital or just feeling to poorly) I may not even be able to make dinner for my awesome husband. This has caused me become stressed, overwhelmed, and anxious in 2020 not joyful and full of faith. As long as I can keep up with it I will do the Fresh Start Bible Study, Trust Without Borders, and the Spiritual Growth Accelerator in February, and I will be much more aware of how I allow illness to steal my joy and peace that God blesses me with because of the measure of faith He gives me. 1 Perter 5:8′ Be alert and sober minded. Your enemy the devil is like a prowling lion looking for someone to devour.’
    I am looking forward to this book tomorrow, and I don’t want to binge on it LOL
