Prayer Card + Day 3 in The Trust Experience

We’ve got another double feature today! If you’re doing the Trust Experience with us, scroll down to the bottom of this post for Day 3.

We’ve also been working our way through the alphabet, providing prayer cards for each letter and corresponding virtue. This week’s letter is K for Kindness.

31 days of trust without borders

Day Three

1. The Bread: Read John 2:1-12 and allow the Lord to speak to your heart.

2. The Devo: Read Day Three in Trust Without Borders: A 40-Day Devotional Journey to Deepen, Strengthen, and Stretch Your Faith in God. Jot down any key concepts that stand out to you.

3. The Plunge: Awakened by crisis. Crisis can awaken us to our false notions about God. It also awakens us to discover who God really is. In crisis, we call on God and He answers by manifesting His glory and showing Himself to be the One True God.

At the wedding feast in John 2, a small crisis occurred. Mary, the mother of Jesus, directed the servants to “do whatever He says to you.”

Part of seeing the resolution to crisis is action. But not just any action…the specific actions Jesus tells us to take. Take some time to listen and hear what God is telling you to do in the midst of your crisis. {Don’t be surprised if it sounds strange!} John 2:11 says the result of Jesus’ miracle in Cana was that “his disciples believed in Him.” When we obey God and He does the miraculous, our faith soars. Jump in today and do whatever He says to you.

I’d love to hear from you in the comments. How are you doing? What action will you take today? How can I pray for you? Talk to me and I’ll see you tomorrow :)
