Have you ever said “no” to your child? I’m sure we all have at some time or another – but others claim it could be ruining your child. In this week’s post, Sarah Ann shares about an article that claims we may be ruining our child by saying “no” to them.
As Christian families, we have the guidelines of God’s Word which is quite clear on what we can and cannot allow our children to do, how we are to train them as they grow. If we’re truly following God’s Word, then we must say “no” sometimes.
Sarah Ann takes this “number one way we’re ruining our kids,” according to this article, and turns it around to point out the blessing of a parent who says no. Friend, if you are feeling worn out from parenting, if “no” seems to constantly be on your lips, you’ll appreciate her encouragement this week for the parent who says no.
