Do you wake with anticipation?
I don’t know about you but my weary soul looks forward to starting my day the best way I know how, with God. Meeting with Him in the morning before the world rushes in and responsibilities pile up stills my spirit and infuses me with confidence.
It also refocuses my heart and invites God to be the center of my life once again. As my quiet time unfolds, I enjoy praying Scripture back to the Lord. Throughout the years, I’ve accumulated notebooks filled with prayers and cornerstone verses. Different seasons means praying different scriptures but there are some Scriptures I find on “repeat” a lot.
If you are looking for scriptures to pray, my hope is that you’ll find something here to help you get started. You can also sign up to receive 40 Promises to pray from the word of God- it’s one of my favorites tools to use for praying Scripture :)
